Master Bath Expansion
These coordination drawings were prepared for the new owner of a 1914 Oak Park home. An undersized beam (Grid C) supporting the upstairs master-bath had sustained water damage and needed replacement. Concurrent with the beam replacement, the owner wished to expand the master-bath to accommodate a larger tub. After verifying the existing conditions (as-built floor plan below) plans and elevations were prepared to evaluate the proposed layout of new fixtures.
Half Bath Conversion
Facilities on the ground floor included an undersized half-bath (not shown) and a stand-alone accessible shower. These coordination drawings show the layout of new toilet and sink fixtures in the former shower room. A new pocket door is shown replacing the original swing door, freeing up movement in the constrained hallway. (The new header beam extends South from Grid 3, along Grid C.)
